These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SoberBear mobile application ("SoberBear", the "App"), published by Apparence.io ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What SoberBear is — and is not

SoberBear helps you track alcohol-free days, daily check-ins, milestones, estimated money saved and estimated health benefits.

SoberBear is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The figures shown in the App (such as life expectancy regained or body recovery timelines) are estimates based on published research and are provided for motivational and informational purposes only. They are not a diagnosis, treatment or personalized medical guidance. If you experience alcohol dependence, withdrawal symptoms, or any health concern related to alcohol, consult a qualified healthcare professional. Stopping alcohol abruptly after heavy, prolonged use can be dangerous and may require medical supervision.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

3. Subscriptions & payment

Some features require a paid subscription ("SoberBear Premium"). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Where offered, unused portions of free trials are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Your content

The App lets you record personal data such as check-ins, notes and optional private photos. You remain the owner of this content. We do not publish it or share it with other users.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to access it by any means other than the interfaces we provide, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, or use it in any way that violates applicable laws.

6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the estimates it displays will match your individual situation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apparence.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
